Opponents of De la Espriella will demonstrate in three cities on the day of his inauguration.

Senator Iván Cepeda of the Pacto Histórico party has announced a series of protests scheduled for August 7 in Bogotá, Cali, and Barranquilla. These demonstrations are set to coincide with the presidential inauguration of Abelardo de la Espriella.
