Puente questions the bias of the judge investigating the Ceuta crisis: "It denotes a principle of distrust"

Spanish Minister of Transport and Mobility Sustainable Óscar Puente has publicly questioned the impartiality of National Court Judge María Tardón. The statements concern an ongoing judicial investigation into the mass entry of thousands of people into Ceuta.

Puente described the judge's actions as denoting a "principle of distrust." Specifically, he criticized as "quite strange" a directive issued by the judge instructing the National Police investigative team not to transmit certain information.
