Authorities in Colombia, in a joint operation involving the Fiscalía General de la Nación, the Armada Nacional, and the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), have dismantled a criminal organization involved in drug trafficking. The operation resulted in the arrest of five individuals accused of being part of a network that smuggled cocaine from the Colombian Pacific to the United States.

The trafficking operation utilized semisubmersible vessels to transport large cargo loads of narcotics across international waters.
