Other former PGR officials request the dismissal of criminal charges

Twelve additional former officials involved in the administrative corruption case led by former Attorney General Jean Alain Rodríguez have formally requested the extinction of criminal proceedings against them. These motions follow a recent court ruling that denied a similar request submitted by the primary defendant in the case.

The ongoing legal proceedings, currently in the trial phase, center on allegations of corruption within the Office of the Attorney General. The defense teams for these twelve individuals are seeking to terminate the action despite the precedent set by the rejection of the lead defendant's petition.
