Over 97,000 popular SUVs recalled over detaching roof racks: What drivers need to know

Chrysler USA is recalling 97,349 Jeeps because the roof racks can detach while the vehicle is being driven. Documents posted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration show the company has received 15 warranty claims potentially related to the issue but is unaware of any accidents or injuries.
