Spain tries to contain the migration crisis in Ceuta: 48,000 people have already returned to Morocco and the death toll rises to 67

The government of Spain has deployed military troops to its autonomous city of Ceuta in North Africa to contain a severe migration crisis. The action follows the arrival of more than 50,000 migrants who entered the territory by both land and sea.

Efforts to manage the situation are ongoing, with authorities reporting that 48,000 individuals have already returned to Morocco. Concurrently, the human toll of the crisis has risen, with the death toll increasing to 67 individuals.
