Pakistan vowed to defend Saudi Arabia after Houthi rebel attacks on the city of Mecca

Pakistan has formally pledged to defend Saudi Arabia "to the extent necessary" following a series of attacks by Houthi rebels originating from Yemen. The commitment from Islamabad comes as Saudi authorities reported the recent interception of an aerial drone south of the holy city of La Meca.
