Pakistan urges Afghanistan to act against militants and denies recruiting Afghan fighters

On Saturday, the Pakistani government formally requested that the Taliban administration in Afghanistan take verifiable measures against militant groups reportedly operating from within Afghan borders. Islamabad issued this call while simultaneously rejecting claims from Kabul that Pakistan is attempting to deflect responsibility for its internal security challenges.
