Palestijnse leider Abbas stelt verkiezingen van november met een jaar uit

Mahmoud Abbas, the president of the Palestinian Authority, has announced the postponement of the parliamentary elections that were scheduled for November. Both the presidential and parliamentary elections have been rescheduled to take place in September of the following year.

Abbas has attributed the cancellation and delay of the democratic votes directly to ongoing Israeli attacks within the Palestinian Territories.
