Palestinians besieged in West Bank village fear Israeli settlers will seize their homes

Palestinian families in the West Bank village of Qusra have remained under an Israeli settler siege for a sixth consecutive day. The situation persists despite an Israeli military operation that was reportedly initiated to remove the settlers from the area.

From within his home in the town, local resident Qusai Abu Rida observed Israeli settlers shifting their positions from a tent erected directly in front of his property to a nearby valley, rather than returning to their local outpost. Residents trapped in the village express deep concern that the ongoing siege is a precursor to settlers seizing their homes.
