PAN warns that authorities are unable to make arrests during operations against fuel theft due to “infiltrators”.

Federico Döring, spokesperson for the Partido Acción Nacional (PAN) congressional caucus in Mexico's Chamber of Deputies, publicly questioned federal authorities on Friday regarding the absence of arrests during recent operations targeting fuel theft, commonly known as huachicol and fiscal huachicol.

According to the PAN representative, the persistent lack of detentions during these government crackdowns is directly attributable to the presence of internal infiltrators within the operations, which compromises their effectiveness.
