Panamá baja en el índice de conectividad marítima de la Conferencia de las Naciones Unidas sobre Comercio y Desarrollo

During the second quarter of 2026, Panama fell to the 24th position globally in the Maritime Connectivity Index published by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).

This decline follows a sustained period of stability for the country, marking the end of a consecutive streak of 27 quarters in which Panama maintained its previous positioning trajectory within the international index.
