Panama boosts agriculture and food security by formalizing an agreement with the FAO

Panamá has formally signed the Country Programme Framework (MPP) 2026-2030 with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). The agreement is designed to boost the agricultural sector and enhance national food security.

The newly established commitment will serve to guide and direct future technical cooperation between the nation and the international organization. It establishes a strategic roadmap intended to steer agricultural and food security initiatives over the next five years.
