Panamanian health authorities announced on Sunday the implementation of a monoclonal antibody to immunize newborns against the Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV).
The preventive measure comes in response to an outbreak of the respiratory condition that has resulted in the deaths of at least 13 children in the country so far this year.
