Paramount settles lawsuit with US states, clearing way for $110bn merger with Warner Bros

Paramount Skydance has reached a settlement in a lawsuit brought by a dozen US states, clearing the procedural path for its $110 billion merger with Warner Bros Discovery.

Under the terms of the settlement agreement, Paramount is required to produce a minimum of 30 films annually and ensure that a specific percentage of those motion pictures are produced domestically within the involved states.
