After an embarrassing loss in Week 3, all eyes are once again on Drake Maye as the New England Patriots face the Buffalo Bills Sunday at 1 p.m.Can Maye work out of his funk? How will the Patriots fare against Josh Allen? How much will the team struggle without Christian Gonzalez on the field?

The New England Patriots (1-2) need a bounce-back after last week’s 35-6 loss at Jacksonville, and they’ll have to manage it short-handed. They visit the undefeated Buffalo Bills (3-0) at Highmark Stadium on Sunday, October 4 (1:00 PM ET, CBS) for their first AFC East game of the season. Cornerback Christian Gonzalez and defensive tackle Christian Barmore have both been ruled out with shoulder injuries.

“That is just what the situation is. There’s nothing we can do about it,” head coach Mike Vrabel said Friday. Carlton Davis, Charles Woods and rookie Karon Prunty will take on Gonzalez’s work at corner.
