Quadrant patrolling still has 149 pending zones

The new Police Service and Patrolling Model (MSPP) in the Dominican Republic, a key component of police reform aimed at transforming the relationship between law enforcement and the citizenry, has not yet achieved its planned territorial deployment. Out of the 355 total quadrants contemplated for the program, only 206 are currently active, leaving 149 zones still pending implementation.

The initiative is designed to restructure how police services are delivered locally. However, the data indicates that a significant portion of the intended coverage area remains outside the active patrolling system, highlighting delays or ongoing challenges in rolling out the comprehensive reform across the targeted regions.
