Quadrant patrolling still has 149 pending zones

The new Police Service and Patrolling Model (MSPP) in the Dominican Republic, established as a central component of police reform to reshape relations between law enforcement and citizens, has not yet achieved its planned territorial deployment. Out of a total of 355 projected operational zones, only 206 are currently active.

This leaves 149 zones still pending implementation. The initiative highlights ongoing challenges in fully rolling out the strategic restructuring of police patrols nationwide.
