KINGSTON, Jamaica — PBS Group has appointed Kiran Kerr as its new head of regional marketing and corporate affairs, strengthening the company’s regional leadership team as it continues to expand across the Caribbean. In a statement on Tuesday, the company said Kerr will oversee PBS Group’s regional marketing strategy, with responsibility for corporate communications, media relations, stakeholder engagement and brand positioning. She will also work alongside the chief financial officer on investor relations and the development of the group’s corporate affairs strategy.
“PBS has a long history of working with organisations across the region to deliver technology and innovative solutions that power the essential services people rely on every day,” said Kerr. “I look forward to building on that story, strengthening how we show up across our markets and supporting the continued growth of the business,” she added. Kerr joins PBS Group from Digicel Group, where she served as group head of corporate communications.
In that role, she supported crisis management, public affairs and communications initiatives across Digicel’s markets while deputising for the chief communications officer. Her career spans corporate communications, consumer marketing and B2B marketing. During her time at Digicel, Kerr served as B2B Group brand director, leading brand and marketing initiatives across the company’s business and information and communication technology (ICT) portfolio.
She also served as group head of marketing for Digicel+, where she led brand strategy, campaign development, and content partnerships with international providers. Earlier in her career, Kerr held regional marketing positions in Jamaica and St Lucia, with responsibility across 15 markets. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and Science from the University of Miami.
