Pedestrian seriously injured in Hokitika crash, major roads closed

A pedestrian has sustained serious injuries following a collision involving a car in Hokitika on Friday morning. Emergency services and police responded to the incident shortly before 9am.

As a result of the crash and the ongoing police response, major roads in the area have been closed to the public.
