Pedestrians consider zebra crossings more urgent than building pedestrian bridges

The Pedestrian Coalition (Koalisi Pejalan Kaki) has assessed that the construction of safe and accessible zebra crossings is currently more urgent than building pedestrian bridges (JPO) in urban areas.

According to the coalition, surface-level zebra crossings provide better accessibility and safety benefits for pedestrians compared to elevated crossing structures.
