Pekín acusa a Japón de usar a China como excusa para ampliar su capacidad militar

China has accused Japan of exaggerating the so-called Chinese threat to use it as an excuse for accelerating its military buildup and expanding its defense capabilities. The accusation was issued on Tuesday following Tokyo's approval of its 2026 Defense White Paper.

In the newly approved defense document, Tokyo explicitly describes Beijing's military movements as a strategic challenge. This characterization prompted the firm response from Beijing regarding Japan's defense policy trajectory.
