Peña propone a directora de academia consular como embajadora de Paraguay en EE.UU.

Paraguayan President Santiago Peña has proposed Estefanía Laterza de los Ríos, the current director of the Foreign Ministry's diplomatic academy, as the country's new ambassador to the United States. The nomination was announced on Friday in Asunción.

Laterza de los Ríos is slated to succeed Gustavo Leite in Washington, D.C.
