Pentagon tells Congress US military airstrikes in Yemen resulted in 153 civilians killed

The Pentagon informed Congress this week that U.S. military airstrikes targeting Houthi militants in Yemen last year resulted in 153 civilian deaths and 243 injuries.

The military campaign followed Houthi attacks on commercial shipping lanes in the Red Sea that began early last year.
