Pérez seeks to save Ecuador's participation in the South American Games in Santa Fe

Jefferson Pérez, president of the Ecuadorian Olympic Committee (COE), announced on Monday in Guayaquil that he is working urgently to secure Ecuador's participation in the upcoming Santa Fe 2026 South American Games ahead of an impending deadline.

Pérez stated that the challenge of advancing local sports has intensified significantly due to a combined economic and administrative crisis currently facing the country's athletic sector.
