Permanent daylight saving time: 19 states ready to end time change if Congress gives them the OK

For some, the sun would rise after 9 a.m. Currently, we “spring forward” and move clocks ahead one hour the second Sunday in March and “fall back” an hour the first Sunday in November when we move to standard time.
