Petro cuestionó a comerciantes de Cúcuta que afirman estar en quiebra y que apoyaron a De la Espriella: “Abrí la frontera con Venezuela”

Colombian President Gustavo Petro publicly questioned merchants in Cúcuta, Norte de Santander, who claimed their businesses were failing despite his administration's policy decisions. Petro highlighted that he had opened the border with Venezuela specifically to support and improve the local economy.

During his remarks, Petro also criticized the merchants for supporting Abelardo de la Espriella, pointing out the contradiction between their political backing and the economic measures taken by his government to aid the border region.
