As Colombia prepares for its presidential inauguration, outgoing leftist President Gustavo Petro doubled down on claims of electoral fraud on Monday during an hourlong presentation to journalists in Bogota. Petro stated he has evidence regarding the June election, which his party narrowly lost to conservative leader Abelardo de la Espriella.

In addition to alleging fraud, Petro warned that the rise to power of the far-right president-elect could potentially lead to a civil war in the country.
