(AFP pic)SEREMBAN: A vessel that left Yanbu, Saudi Arabia, after receiving clearance to sail through the Red Sea is expected to arrive in Melaka in early August, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said today.Anwar said Petronas president and group CEO Tengku Muhammad Taufik Aziz informed him of the development yesterday.He also said the development underscored the importance of Malaysia pursuing a prudent approach to foreign policy.“This is why our foreign policy must be prudent,” he said at a programme at the basic army training centre here today.The Red Sea has recently become a high-risk shipping corridor following attacks on commercial vessels by Yemen's Houthis.The rebels have also threatened to block the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, a critical chokepoint linking the Red Sea to the Gulf of Aden, despite the world reeling from Iran's closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
