Prosecutors have requested life imprisonment for Daniel Luquez, 28, and Juan Edgardo Rodríguez, 33, the two defendants currently on trial for the murder of mechanic Ariel Mariano Charrutte. The request follows nearly three years of legal proceedings regarding the incident, in which Charrutte was killed while attempting to defend a neighbor during a robbery. The defendants remain in custody as the judicial process concludes.
