PNG Civil and Identity Registry, the Australian Government and UNICEF launch birth registration campaign

The Papua New Guinea Civil and Identity Registry (PNGCIR), in partnership with the Australian Government and UNICEF, has jointly launched a new birth registration campaign. The initiative is designed to encourage parents and caregivers throughout Papua New Guinea to actively utilize birth registration services.

This collaborative effort brings together national registry authorities and international development partners to address and promote civil registration coverage within the country. By facilitating broader access and awareness, the campaign aims to ensure that children across the region are officially registered.
