Youth pathways front and center as PNGRFL unveils Junior Kumuls and Orchids squads for PM’s XIII

The Papua New Guinea Rugby Football League (PNGRFL) has announced the official squads for the upcoming Prime Minister’s XIII fixtures against Australia. The matches, featuring the men’s and women’s Prime Minister’s XIII teams as well as the Junior Kumuls and Junior Orchids, are scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 3, at the Santos National Football Stadium in Port Moresby.

The event serves as a showcase for both emerging youth talent and established domestic players, including the selection of East New Britain Agmark Gurias hooker Emmanuel Alfred. Beyond the athletic competition, the annual fixture is recognized for highlighting the deep-rooted diplomatic and cultural ties between Papua New Guinea and Australia.
