NewzPolice in Fort Lauderdale responded to reports of a shooting around 4:30 a.m. Sunday.Their investigation appeared to be focused on an area behind Truth Lounge and Nightclub and the Star America Food & Deli located along the 2600 block of Oakland Park Blvd. Local 10 News’ cameras spotted detectives walking around the property examining the scene left behind after the apparent shooting.Several evidence markers were left along the pavement, and bullet casings were scattered on the ground.Officers quickly left the scene around 5:30 a.m.

Investigators shut down a portion of the 2700 block of Arthur Street after gunfire rang out at a late night studio session around 2:30 a.m. When they arrived, officers said they found two men with gunshot wounds. According to family of one of the victims, a 23-year-old man was inside a home when someone inside pulled out a gun and started shooting.
They said their family member was shot multiple times in his abdomen, hand, and leg.Police said the suspect remained at the scene and was taken into custody.
