Police suspend Yoav Eliasi over recordings claiming influence with law enforcement officers

Police have suspended Yoav Eliasi following the release of recordings in which he claimed to have influence over law enforcement officers. Consequent to this decision, authorities confiscated Eliasi's firearm.

In addition to the suspension and the confiscation of his weapon, the Police Internal Investigations Department has initiated a review to examine the information that came to light in the report.
