Sonora Attorney General's Office attributes Hermosillo ring fire to drug dealing due to dispute between criminal groups

The incident occurred ahead of a planned influencer boxing event known as 'Noche Suprema.'

According to authorities, the fire was intentionally set as part of ongoing conflicts between rival criminal organizations operating in the region. The investigation highlights how local turf wars and cartel-related violence directly impact public infrastructure and high-profile entertainment events in the area.
