Another lawsuit to suspend Abelardo de la Espriella's presidential inauguration was filed with the Council of State: they allege that there was electoral fraud.

A legal challenge has been filed with the Council of State seeking to suspend the upcoming presidential inauguration of Abelardo de la Espriella and Vice President-elect José Manuel Restrepo. The lawsuit alleges that the election results were tainted by fraud and requests a nullification of the process to prevent the transition of power.

Simultaneously, the incoming administration has moved to terminate a contract previously established by the outgoing government with the public media system, RTVC. De la Espriella’s team stated that canceling the broadcast agreement will save the state approximately 2.45 billion pesos, marking an early administrative shift in the management of public resources ahead of the inauguration.
