Portugal’s 7th OperaFest opens today with Puccini’s Turandot

Portugal’s 7th OperaFest begins today at the Convento da Cartuxa in Caxias, located on the outskirts of Lisbon. The festival opens with a production of Giacomo Puccini’s opera Turandot.

The performance features soprano Olesya Golovneva in the lead role, with musical direction provided by Osvaldo Ferreira. This event marks the start of the festival's seventh annual iteration.
