Powers greater than US tried to conquer Iran but ended up in ‘dustbin of history,’ Rezaei says

Iran’s top security official, Mohsen Rezaei, stated that powers greater than the United States have previously attempted to conquer Iran and ultimately ended up in the "dustbin of history." Speaking in Tehran, Rezaei asserted that Iran will determine the outcome of its ongoing confrontation with Washington.

In addition to these remarks, the Iranian official explicitly ruled out a return to previous diplomatic norms. He also issued a warning that Tehran would enact potential retaliation against United States assets in the event of any renewed aggression.
