The People's Party (PP) has rejected the Spanish government's distinction between male and female migrant minors who recently entered Ceuta, arguing that all children deserve equal treatment. Parliamentary spokesperson Ester Muñoz publicly disagreed with differentiated approaches to the minors.

Furthermore, the PP spokesperson emphasized that boys also suffer from sexual assaults, framing the situation as one of indiscriminate vulnerability among the arriving children.
