Pragyan Ojha replaces Agarkar as selection panel chief; Ramesh joins committee

Pragyan Ojha has been appointed as the new chairman of the BCCI’s Men’s Selection Committee, succeeding Ajit Agarkar. The transition follows Agarkar’s tenure in the role. Alongside this leadership change, former spinner Ramesh Powar has been added to the committee as a new member.

The appointment of Powar is noted for the coaching experience he brings to the selection panel. The committee is tasked with overseeing player selection for the men's national team following the conclusion of Agarkar's leadership period.
