On August 21, foreign currency opening rates in Chile showed marginal increases against the Chilean peso, according to data cited from Dow Jones.

The United States dollar opened at an average of 922.65 Chilean pesos, marking a 0.06% increase from its previous close of 922.10 pesos. Over the preceding week, the dollar recorded a 0.83% advance.

Simultaneously, the euro opened at 1,080.71 Chilean pesos, representing a 0.36% rise compared to the previous close of 1,076.88 pesos. The European currency experienced a 2.22% gain over the course of the last week.
