President Xi encourages China-US youth ties after exchange

Nearly 100 students from 10 United States universities who participated in the Future Makers 2026 travel programme in China jointly wrote a letter to Chinese President Xi Jinping. The students shared their observations and experiences from their journey across the country.

In response to the correspondence, President Xi issued a reply encouraging the strengthening of youth ties between China and the United States.
