Presidente del Legislativo en Honduras defiende reformas contra grupos terroristas: “Tenemos que velar por la mayoría del pueblo hondureño”

The President of the Honduran Legislature has defended recent legislative reforms and measures aimed at combating terrorist groups, maras, gangs, and organized crime, stating that authorities must look out for the majority of the Honduran people.

The defense of the security measures follows a public warning issued by the National Commissioner for Human Rights (Conadeh), which cautioned that the legal reforms and actions adopted to confront these criminal organizations must adhere to established protections and rights.
