Presidents rarely visit Indian Country. Trump’s planned Choctaw Nation rally will be the latest

President Donald Trump is scheduled to hold a campaign rally on Thursday within the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. This event marks a rare visit by a U.S. president to Indian Country, placing Trump among only a small handful of chief executives to visit tribal nations while in office.

The rally is part of Trump's broader campaign push through deep red states ahead of November's midterm elections. During these visits, he has been actively stumping for Republican candidates and promoting his legislative and political agenda.
