NewzKINGSTON, Jamaica β A search is now underway to locate a prisoner who escaped police custody early Saturday morning while being quarantined at a medical facility in the Corporate Area. He has been identified as 25-year-old Marlo Headley of Palmers Cross, Clarendon, who is facing murder charges. Reports from the Hunts Bay Police are that about 4:40 am, Headley escaped from a medical facility where he was last seen shirtless and wearing brown shorts.
Headley is being urged to surrender to the police immediately. He is of brown complexion, slim build and about 178 centimetres (5 feet 10 inches) tall. He also has a tattoo on his right arm above his elbow.
Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Marlo Headley is asked to contact the Hunts Bay Police at (876) 923-7111, the police emergency 119 number, or the nearest police station. The police are also warning members of the public that harbouring a fugitive is a criminal offence and could result in prosecution.
