Privado de libertad: El obispo emérito Juan Abelardo Mata cumple 50 años de sacerdocio en Nicaragua

Monsignor Juan Abelardo Mata, the bishop emeritus of Estelí, marked his 50th anniversary of priesthood on August 15 in Nicaragua. The milestone was observed while he remained deprived of liberty.

The clergyman has been held under restrictions since June 29. These measures were imposed by the government of Daniel Ortega and Rosario Murillo.
