Private spacecraft falls back to Earth after failing to rescue aging NASA telescope

A robotic private spacecraft named Link, developed by Katalyst Space Technologies, plunged back to Earth on Friday, less than three months after its launch. The three-armed spacecraft failed in its mission to rescue an aging NASA telescope.

The bold mission had launched from Cape Canaveral, Florida, with the objective of servicing and rescuing the orbital telescope. Following the operational failure of the spacecraft's primary rescue objectives, the mission concluded with its re-entry into Earth's atmosphere.
