Progressives to combat Trump’s ‘Donroe Doctrine’ at PanAmerican Congress

A group of progressive House lawmakers and Democratic candidates are traveling to Montevideo, Uruguay, to attend the PanAmerican Congress scheduled for August 21–23. The delegation intends to use the forum to challenge President Trump’s foreign policy approach in Latin America, which they refer to as the 'Donroe Doctrine.'
