Rain and hot weather are forecast for the Dominican Republic

The Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet) reports that a trough influencing weather conditions across the Dominican Republic is beginning to move away this Thursday. Despite the gradual departure of this weather system, the country will continue to experience high temperatures throughout most of the national territory.

While the meteorological disturbance is dissipating, the forecast maintains a combination of lingering precipitation and hot conditions. Residents are advised that the warm environment remains the primary atmospheric trend for the day.
