They project investments of $3.6 billion to expand the capacity of the Waterway

Plans have been projected for investments totaling 3.600 million dollars aimed at expanding the capacity of the Paraguay-Paraná Hidrovía. The initiative responds to a new phase of expansion where the potential growth of cargo traffic is placing pressure on currently available operational capacity.

The initial estimates regarding these infrastructure investments and capacity enhancements were prepared by the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean (CAF).
